May 5, 2023 was a day of great relief and new certainty for our company. After the self-administration proceedings had started on January 27 this year for our company which were transferred to open proceedings on May 1, everything points to further very positive development now.
The Ziegra company will undergo a so-called Managed Buy Out and is to be taken over by a group of investors as well as by Benjamin Braun and Johannes von Rohr from the previous management circle.
The creditors' committee has already agreed to this transition.. The final conditions are expected to be in place by the end of September 2023.
Mr Johannes von Rohr will remain managing director of the company. In addition, the management will consist of Benjamin Braun as COO/Operations Manager and Mr Johannes Humberg as General Representative and representative of the investors. An advisory board consisting of representatives of the investors is also available to the management.
During the past months we have been striving for continuity in order to remain a reliable partner for both the production of our approved ZIEGRA Ice Machines and to keep on assisting you with our capable service team. We are pleased to say we have managed to reach this goal.
This period of time, however, was a major challenge for all of us in ZIEGRA. And no doubt we will have tried your patience by some means or other, too in the course of the required restructuring measures.. Nonetheless, you have not lost your confidence in Ziegra but maintained your support on our way instead.
